Talking Maybe I'm modding the wrong vehicle? Durmax Power!

I was checking out some diesel forums to learn about my truck I recently bought & came across some sweet videos! Makes me wonder if I'm modding the wrong vehicle.

Check em out here: http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthr...2&page=1&pp=10

If you are just looking for impressive dyno numbers, then yeah you probably are modding the wrong vehicle. But, if you are interested in hauling ***, you shouldn't spend a dime on a crew cab 4x4 diesel. 12-13 second trucks are still just 12-13 second vehicles. Yawn!

But Tony its alot funner.. Cracking a slightly modded LS1 may not seem fun to you, but do it in a 6700lb truck with 4 passangers.. and its just great.. Then again what can I say the only time I run across things to race is when Im at the track.. and that gets boring.. Guess its the price to pay when you go fast..

I liked blowing the doors off of ricers in my big 'ol 03 Dodge 4x4 4 door dually with 9" lift and 35's. It was all good, until I twisted the flywheel off of the crank. $9500 for a new short block. If you want to go fast, just make sure it's in something that is made for it.

Powell, cracking slightly modified LS1s is boring. Its more fun to humiliate them in another f-body.

Tony but then again.. There is only a few cars in Texas that will hang with my LS1.. so Ive got to look at other things... LOL Plus beating ricers and Mustangs in a 6700lb truck is fun.. One day you'll own a fast truck and you'll understand until then.. well your just driving a Dodge

I have to agree with you there. But I wish my truck was that light. My door sticker says it's 11,400 lbs.

But I'm not sure.
