im getting sued:(
Sucks, man. Sorry you got stuck with that. Not much you can do except get an attorney and try to fight it. I got sued by an insurance company when I was 21 (15 years ago) for the same scenario, and I had to pay $12,000.00. I had to settle with the lawyers and set up a payment plan because I was found to be at fault (police report and everything) in the accident. Sad, but true, so I totally know where you are coming from here.
Edit: Coverage amounts were incorrect - just checked the policy.

This is through State Farm.
Bear in mind I get multi-line (renter's insurance) multi-car and loyalty discounts, so you may not be able to get these premiums.
And I misspoke earlier. Policy shows 50/100/50. I ALMOST got 250/500/250, but the premiums were a little high with having 3 cars on the policy now that I think about it. $500 deductible. Sorry.
2003 Z06 - $538.73
2002 Z71 Silverado - $515.73
2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder - $676.73
Funny that a 4 cylinder Eclipse would be more than a 405HP Vette, huh? It's a convertible with no roll over safety according to them, so it gets a higher premium. Wonder what a convertible Vette would cost. Vette is listed as a weekend pleasure vehicle and not a daily driver (less than 12K miles per year).

Sorry for your situation, dude...
Meaning if you totaled my truck and it was your fault and you had no insurance you would get a ticket but that my insurance covered it.
Theres a thousand low-lifes around DFW running around with no insurance ive never heard of any of them paying up when it comes time because they dont have it, who knows maybe they let them pay $20.00 a week for the rest of their lives, i dunno. I guess my advice would be to make myself appear as poor as possible......catch my drift. That and get a freakin lawyer for damn sure.
Did you know that non-named non owner insurance is only $20.00 per month for me to drive anyones car anywhere so long as its not in my name and im not the primary driver. Now thats cool ****.
