Default Paypal Questions???

As some of you know I am computer stupid, so these questions may seem dumb. I opened my new PayPal account and I'm not real comfortable with puting my Bank Account on there to put money in the PayPal account. I guess my question to ya'll is, Have any of you had any problems with ANYTHING from PayPal? I'm just scared somebody will get ahold of my account #'s. Thanks guys and girls for your help.

I use paypal on a daily basis.. and have not had any problems..
The only problem that you could ever really have is someone saying that they didnt get what you sold them and paypal gives them their money back and takes it from you.. That was alot of their issues back in the day, but i havent had that problem in years..

I haven't had any problems.
What I would do is open up an account for just pay-pal.
Example: I have several accounts at Washington Mutual. I make one of those accounts as my pay-pal account. Once money is recieved in that account, I automatically transfer the majority of it to another account and only leave about $5.00 in my paypal account.
So if someone hacks paypal and get's that account number; they will only get $5.00 and nothing more.

Hope this helps.

i use paypal all the time, with no problems. they have great customer service, and appear to be very safe. they called me the other day to report "suspicious" activity that occured when i let a friend of mine try to add his account to my paypal. because right after he failed in putting his in, i made a large purchase on there for him. and they called to confirm that it was me that made the purchase, and to let me know of the suspicious activity.

once I got an e-mail that looked very suspicious because it sent me to a link that was almost exactly like the Paypal page but it started asking me for my SS# and other personal info. So I called Paypal and they asked me if the E-mail was addressed to my name. And I said that it was addressed to dear PayPal User, and they said that it wasn't definetely not sent by PayPal. If they ever e-mail you , your name will appear in the e-mail. Just be on the lookout for suspicious e-mail and thoroughly read PayPals advice on avoiding scam artists.

I've gotten one of those. ITs no big deal you can tell the difference between the fake and the real one. When they start asking for SS# and other info you can pretty much tell its a fake. I get some that are from MSN too but I know its not real
