Window Tint

Where in NW houston to get window tinted. Xtreme window tint and alarm has done one of my cars before. They did a decent job but was just was wondering if anyone here knew a good place to get tint done for a reasonable price in Nw houston?

Master Audio, Hwy 6 right past W.little york. Super cool guys, lifetime warranty, probably set you back about 140.

140 ain't bad at all, especially for good work. I was quoted $300 in Germany.

SOrry to jack this thread, . Someone told me that the back glass could not be tinted properly due to the "dot-matrix" looking **** at the top. Is this true?

That hasn't stopped the countless number of people who have already tinted back hatch windows.

Most places now a days use one piece for the hatch, right?

The question was; will the tint adhere to that surface?

when I got my tint done they sanded down the dot matrix and then applied the tint so it can be done

Got it done by xtreme tint. Looks good. They charged about $160.00 but that's because they had to put some kind of special adhesive for the dots in the back window, 20.00 extra for that.

Z06 jet they are located on 1960 near Mills road. They have done 3 of my cars now with no problems so far.

got mine done from 2 guys that use to work at US auto tint and alarm. they used 1 piece for the hatch..they use llumar tint...have had it on htere for about 2 years now and no peeling whatsoever. payed $80. Kool Tint n Alarm I believe is the name. Fondren n S. Main.

Ace window tint at Fountainview and Westheimer (on fountainview or chimney rock between westheimer and richmond). I had my '02 WS6 tinted there for $120 two years ago. They used metalic based tint, one piece for the hatch, and yes they tinted over the dot-matrix without a problem or sanding it down. I had the car for over two years without any tint issues. They had me in and out in about 2hrs.

ElS1, what is llumar tint?

Who knows what shades(percentage wise) are available out there? I was looking to get something really light like 40-45% if there is such a shade.

ulySSes, 40-45% is very light, it is lighter than legal which is 35% I believe. It might be lower now not sure.
