Default Hp Tuner Users In Houston

I was thinking of trying to get some HP Tuner owners together in Houston to possibly share ideas or tunes? Anyone?

I have it but I don't think anyone will want mine. I'm always down for learning more about tuning though.

He dosent like to deal with forced induction because of the greater risk at breaking stuff, but im pretty sure he can give you a lot of help with it.

Ah I see, well since you are already prepped, we can discuss many an EFI concept together then! But to be honest, my main knowledge base lays around NA setups. Not a super big difference in tuning methods, but just more delicate and less room for error. Do you have the Speed Density upgrade package for your software?

There is not a 2 or 3 bar setup for the V6's yet..... My biggest challenge has kind of gone away with the warmer weather. I was maxing out the stock MAF, then I maxed out an SLP 85MM MAF when we were playing with the tune during the cold weather (I was running 7 PSI on the stock MAF, I could run 9 PSI on the SLP before I maxed it, the car would cut the injector pulse width on me just like the LT1’s do). I'm sure it'll come back in the cold season but I'm not too concerned about it right now (I'm hoping HPtuenrs gets something out for the V6's). I have the concepts (thanks to chuck @ HPE, Tiago, and many others who have taken time out of their day to explain things to me and even do some playing with my tune) but I lack the tuning experience to know what to change in specific instances.

The tune I am running now is no where near great but it runs ok with no KR. I do not want to waist anyone’s time at the moment because Tiago and I are completely changing the setup next month . I have one item on order and by the end of the month I should have some more . I expect the car to be down for 2 weeks hopefully less. After that I want to get a good tune and dyno at 10-12 PSI. My baseline dyno was 175 on the nose. After the new setup I’m hoping for 400+ RWHP….

You need to talk with Nick Fields at Fastlane in Houston. Hes a HP tuner master, has a dyno and is awsome with forced induction cars!

PM me for his number.
