Default Got lucky.

Leaving work Monday stopped at the stop light that is wright before a large bridge.I always give it alittle gas under the bridge because it's loud and sounds cool.Well coming out from under the bridge pretty much in the gas. There sits a Plano motor cop looking around trying to figure out where the noise is coming from.Well I get off the gas of coarse and I know i'm F#$$ed I have no Cat's and a cut out open,so I start going to the right lane getting ready for my new tickets.I look in my rear view mirror and he can't get into traffic.I proceed to cut about three lanes of traffic and onto the Tollway and start changing zip codes. So as I said I got sooooo lucky.

That is so funny that you mention getting on it under bridges and overpasses, b/c I do the same thing. The sound is awesome!! Good moves avoiding the 5-0, btw.

Nice. I love gunning it under bridges, sounds so good. I wonder how many people I've pissed off doing that?

i had a cop on my *** the other night leaving the little waterfront hangout in my town. i knew for sure it was about to pull me over (duals dumped before the axle making all kinda noise, even though i was just creeping around). they are major DICKS to all the people who hang out there, and usually for good reason. anyway, right as i know he's about to flip his lights on, this guy who just got a 99-04? mustang gt passed me and threw a rev (which i barley heard ), and the cop whipped a u-turn and pulled him over instead!

i BARLEY heard the mustang, i dont know how the cop did! it wasnt even a very hardcore rev, just a lil one

I think everyone has had that happen a time or ten. I actually got lucky myself last week. I was leaving my parents auto shop and shot out in traffic WOT to merge, then slammed second at 6K rpms. I look up at the top of second and see a collin county passing me. Luckily I didnt turn off the TCS so the *** end stayed right, if I had turned it off he would have seen me sliding through traffic. You know those cops have to be pissed when they try and get you, knowing good and well you are making use of traffic to lose them. I did that one time and just knew I got away and all the sudden the cop rolled up next to me from a sidestreet, walked up with a smerk and just said "nice try".

I do the same thing. It does sound bad ***. But after reading your story, I think I might have to chill out a bit on the accelerater while going under the bridge.
