in desperate need of help alright guys i think im screwed .... something is wrong with my car and im pissed i think its something big but i donno ......ok i jus spent bout 3gs on a new motor for my ta and its been about 8 months since ive had and a new clutch ok so today im driving and all of a sudden my car starts boggin down....and it feels like i cant catch any gears....so i turn of my car and try to start it it turns on but bogs right back down ( it bogs down around 2000rpm) .....so what i did was turn it on gave it gas and drove it home ridding the clutch and the gas pedal all the way .......so i get home and i park it i turn it off and i turn it back on and it sounds like the car is cammin the idle is not steady .....i donno whats wrong with it if u can pleease help me out ....

well multiple reasons can cause the bog... like overloading the motor w/ fuel, there fore causing the motor to barely run... was it blowing any kind of smoke? any lights or sensors go off?

Did you check to see if the pressure regulator is ruptured, or a restricted return line. These are usually the causes of high pressure. But, there is always a first. If it has **** or wheels it will give trouble.
LS1's run at 60 psi fuel pressure normally... If you're at 60, no problem there...

Problems If you have no trouble lights then it may very well be a fricked sensor. Try this...disconnect the positive battery cable for about 10 minutes then reconnect. Start and drive your car. If it operates normally then it's a sensor. Once you drive your car 50 miles it should start having problems again.

ima buy a fuel pump .........and i need the idle air control and a mass air flow sensor thats what the guy said i need those were the codes that the computer was throwin .....he ran a flow chart diagnostics check on it
It is possible the idle air control and Maf codes are false codes. When it is running poor the pcm will tinker with both of the above trying to bring idle into an acceptable range. If it cannot do this then it determines there is trobuble with the maf or iac and set an trouble code. The fuel pump could have pressure but low overall volume. I have had a couple come through the shop is the last few years acting about the same way and even though the pressure was fine the volume was way low.

well one noticeable noise coming from teh car is like a whinning when ur off the gas pedal but after a while the noise goes away.........is this the cause of the fuel pump gone bad?.......
