Default FS: 1965 289 fastback mustang

i made a tough decision and decided to put my dads stang up for sell that he left me after he passed away 2 years ago. i am currently in san antonio for college and the mustang is sitting in my garage back in sugar land with my mom. since i am in college and in need of money i want to sell her for reasurance in my back account. this 1965 fastback mustang runs great and fires up everytime. have had no problems whatsoever. my dad bought her from the owner of cross country automotive in sugar land and all the performance modifications have been done by a close friend of mine that is a technition there. she has an A3 with a 289 motor, with a set of nice heads and cam, all parts are edlebrock. no power steering or breaks. the car has a nice lobe and sounds amazing, she just shakes at stop lights. oh yeah, the brand new motor my dad put in currently has 2,000 miles on it. this was a weekend ride and has always been a texas car since it had been restored. body, interior, and paint are in great condition. there are far to many mods to list but serious buyers please PM me for exact modifications that my dad has on file. if you would like to see the car in person PM me and i will arrange it with my mom in sugar land. i am getting cross country to print me out a copy of all the work that has been done so i can inform serious buyers. right now ive been taking best offers but havent found what im looking for. PM me if you have an offer or i can tell you what i have in mind. more pics can be seen in the link in my sig. i will get better pics and motor pics as soon as i go back into sugar land. i may also be putting her on ebay soon. i really hate to get ride of this stang but i still got my TA to have fun with. feel free to PM me with any questions i may have left out. i hope the next owner has as much fun with her as i did. i work many hours as a waiter at papasito's, so i will answer PMs as quickly as i can.

thanks, conrad

Sweet ride man. You will likely regret it down the road, but these are decisions we make in life and I'm sure you have thought it out thoroughly. I've been in your shoes a few times. Good luck to ya!

I have an idea. Why don't you just get rid of the T/a?

i thought about that a few times but here in san antonio i do alot of highway driving in all conditions of weather. i hardly get to wash my TA and if i had the mustang it would sit outside all day in the sun collecting dirt. plus highway driving put alot of rock chips and miles on the TA and i just want the mustang to stay in great condition. i would just rather sell it to someone that will take care of it so it will continue having a long life.

I 2nd in selling the T/A. Too many memories in the Stang.

Kind of reminds me of a country song my ex was telling me about. It was about a 2nd gen Vette that a US soldier proudly owned, later he was sent out to war. The soldier was KIA and the Stingray was sold by his widowed wife. The new owner got into a bad wreck in it and his unconscious body was pulled out by the ghost of the soldier before the car bursted into flames. Gives me goosebumps, Im sure someone knows what song Im talking about. I personally never heard the song, so...

that sounds like a country song i could listen to. not really a fan of country. unfortunately, the stang is going to be the one to go. it just doesnt fit the college life. people at work, school, parking lots, and my apartments just dont have the respect for this car as we do. also i travel alot back into sugar land to see my mom. i dont want the stang getting all banged up. i still got 3 yrs left here in college.
