Abilene Dragstrip will be holding a True Street Legal 3 Event Series. The Dates are set as follows:

April 30th

July 30th

October 1st

There will be 7 different classes: Street cars only through the mufflers:

Sport Compact: Open $200/100
D.O.T. Stock: No Power Adders/84 or newer $200/100
D.O.T. Outlaw: Power Adder/84 or newer $200/100
9 Second Index: 9:00 Breakout/heads up $200/100
8 Second Index: 8:00 Breakout/heads up $200/100
7 Second Index: 7:00 Breakout/Heads up $200/100

Super Street: Heads up, Power adders true
10.5 slick or 12.5 D.O.T. No
(w) tires. No full chassis cars. All
front end mods must be bolt on
in stock location. $1000/500

Entry fees for the event will be 25.00 per class with the exception of the Super Street which will be 50.00

There will be a Car Show for all the non racers.

This is our event a true street series. No Track Cars.

There will be an ET Bracket Gamblers Race for the true track cars.

There will be a Wheelie Contest.

Gates will open at noon. Qualifying at 2 pm. Elimanations to Follow.

There will also be points awarded for each of the 3 races and at the end of the series awards will be given away.

I think our Drag Strip has hit a home run on this. Lets get the word out.
