SFA, anyone? I'm probably headed off to Stephen F. Austin next year.
I'd like your opinions of the college & anything else.
Also, anyone going, I guess I need to find a roomate, too.

I've seen the campus once or twice, suggest you do a careful investigation of which dorms you sign up for unless you don't mind spartan living conditions -- several of the residence halls are old and have very small rooms (and bathrooms shared by the whole floor/hall, for that matter). They're working on remodelling some of them, though.

Never went there, but I went to TJC for 2 semesters after highschool. Tyler was such a boring *** town we use to always drive down to SFA on the weekends. The girls down there seemed to like getting drunk alot which is always fun 
ACW is right, dorms are small. But, it's been about 7yrs since the last time I was there.

I've been here for almost 2 years and its a great school. The campus is absolutely gorgeous you get to actually talk to your professors and converse and work with them on a 1 on one basis.
The parking does suck, but they are completing a new parking garage right now.
Party life is pretty good the bars, clubs and restaurants are really pretty good. I was surprised when I first got here with the quality of the entertainment and nightlife that is here.
People do drive like idiots around here, I've almost been hit twice. One was pretty recent and if someone does hit my SS I QUARANTEE "somebody gonna get laid the **** out"
Final word-SFA's two biggest majors are education and nursing which means the ratio of girs is like 4:1 There are definitely some hot girls down here!

well one of our friends went there and hated it and transfered out... all he said there was to do is drink, if that is your thing then you are ok...

yeah, im def. not lying about that std ratio, that is a fact! it was recorded 1 of every 3... all there is to do there is drink/party/sex, otherwise the town is really boring... you can call it "21 up" or "drinking town", pretty much nothing but bars... like spazdout stated, my friend couldnt take it, and left
