Help Disposing Auto Fluids
Help Disposing Auto Fluids Any one in the Houston area know where I can dispose of anti freeze, brake fluid, trans fluid, and oil?
I talked to Autozone and they will take the oil, but not the rest. Been searching the web for a while and can't seem to come up with the right key words to search for.

Yep, what you need is Household Hazardous Waste disposal

Another option I've heard of some people doing is taking their stuff to a mechanics shop they're acquainted with and asking them to add it to the fluids the shop's already going to have to be disposing of

Thought I would bump this for anyone else looking to get rid of old fluids.
FYI - I went to the recycle center located at South Post Oak and South Main - You need to bring a water bill showing you live in houston and your drivers license. It's a drive thru facility, so you pull in and they unload your vehicle.

SPAZDout, read the back of the Prestone bottle... it says something like to dispose of it by pouring it down the drain.
