Run your car against someone you have good measure on to see if your car is really doing better or worse. You could dyno 400 then go to another dyno on the very same day and dyno 390. Don't get too caught up with it since dyno races get you nothing but bragging rights (based on a sort of empty comparison IMO)... either that or you get run by a car with "lower" numbers than you and get embarressed in a way worse way...

If you are really down on power then you should race me and see how you do. We did along time ago and at least 2nd gear was a very even match. If you lost the HP you "think' you did, I should walk away quite handily. Either that or the weather will make us all lose/gain hp effectively so it shouldn't matter since I will have lost power, and you and all those around us. We'll get it figured out, and like i said, if dynoes are your only indication of performance, THEN A SAD MAN YOU WILL BE!

I drive the car about once a week now, and if I lost power I wouldnt be able to tell, **** I dive a 97 huyandi, everything feels faster than that. I raced raf from a stand still a while back and even though hes an A4, I didnt get to blow his doors off till ~95. And when I passed him, his doors never came off . O well, off to the body shop tomarro and then well see how things go when I get it back from there. Its a number of different things that are possibiliies that would hide 20 horses, but the graph is also broken up and comparing it to the previous dyno, the powerband (not numbers) is completly differnt. Tq comes in later and drops off sooner and a bunch of other things. Ill post it up later tonight.
