hey you dallas guys that are looking at the Beetle, i live in ft. worth and i have a 1971 VW Super Beetle for sale. the engine runs and i used it for a daily driver. i just bought a camaro and i'm trying to sell the bug. i was acctually cleaning it up today to sell. if anyone's interested i posted pix on my cardomain (www.cardomain.com/id/ftcamaro)

i went to a volkswagen show and i was told that i'm selling my car for VERY cheap. i'm only asking $2,500. i paid $2,000 for it and i've easily spent more than $500 on fixing it up. if anyone's interested then call me. (817) 673 8508 or (817) 297 6791

yes...BUT i have a SUPER beetle. ah ha! that means different front end, dual port heads, and it's like a foot longer (more trunk space) lol plus mine runs. oh and engines out of a VW magazine is more than $400. i'm not sure how much exactly but you might could find a running engine at a junk yard or something for cheaper

Crazy Paco. A little stroker motor and nitrous will do good in that VW.

stroker - yes, nitrous - no those engines would blow up like hiroshima if you decided to throw an extra 150 HP in them. stock engines came with less than 70 HP!

I just spoke to Paco and the car is now fixed. He said they had the motor out in about 15-20 mins.
