Found a place for Friday night! I was out the last few Friday nights and I was just so enraged as to how whack the scene was. I saw some people hanging out at the Best Buy parking lot. "Cool," I thought, "the people are out." Drove off to somewhere for 5 minutes and came back to an empty parking lot. I drove to the Sams parking lot...crickets! Drove up and down Westhiemer and while it was cool, I didn't find any congregation of cars anywhere. Basically, this is how my last few Friday nights went. Just ended up with a lot of wasted gas and nothing else.
I talked to my friend who had some connection with Hush Nightclub and he had asked if it was OK to have car people meet up at their parking lots for a Friday night meet. I thought, this is great!
-No worry about getting kicked out.
-You didn't have to pay anything.
-A few cops there to make sure things were ok rather than to chase us off.
-Hotties on the scene who are going into the club.
-Of course, the option to go into the club if you want.
I think you can come up around 8:00pm and the meet will last indefinitely.
The Date: 5/20 (Friday)
Location: 15625 Katy Freeway Houston, TX 77094 (On I-10 West, Between Hwy 6 and Barker Cypress)
Of course, when we want to go out driving, the freeway is right there for some "spirited runs."
Who's down? I'll be there, along with a turbo Mustang, and a sweet Camaro. I'd like to meet up with some of you and most importantly, get a ride in a really fast LS1. I'm still trying to decide on which route to go with on my car.
