Kickin myself in the ****
I was sittin here at work, kinda bored. Thinkin about my old T/A that I used to have. It was a 2000 Trans Am, but it was the Maple Red Metallic. I bought it from Gay Pontiac in Dickenson brand new. Man I loved that car, but my now ex-wife's money spending ways forced me to sell. Anyways, was just doin some research and I never realized how rare that color was. I mean I knew I never saw any that color rollin H-town other than mine but dang. Anyways, I still kick myself in the **** when I think that I sold it. Was just wondering if anybody in Houston has one. I traded her in at Clear Lake Dodge. I know that a couple bought the car, because they called me to see the condition of the car and maintenance records and such. Wondering if the owner still has the car or is a member of the site.

Yep, that's a very uncommon color, shame ya didn't hold on to it
Edit: Just thought of something that might make it easier to 'find' yours... do you know if the buyers kept the same license plates? (If so, what was the number?)

Well, it would have most likely been purchased at Clear Lake Dodge sometime in 2001 and it was just a Trans Am, not a WS6. When I bought the car I test drove every one on the lot T/A or WS6 and this felt the fastest. When I sold her, she was in excellent condition and pretty much stock except for an MTI Clear lid & K&N drop in and a magnaflow exhaust with the stock T/A Tips. Chrome wheels. I very much hate now that I had to get rid of it. Oh, and it was an A4.
I had thought about checking to see if the plates were changed and maybe even the vin #. I keep all this info for my own personal records.

I really have gotten bitten by the bug. There is a 1999 T/A Medium Blue Metallic up in Arlington @ Don Davis Ford that I am really interested in. Don't know how good a deal it is, but from best I can tell it looks stock, only seen pictures, and its 51,551 miles and they are asking 13,995 for it. Sounds a little high to me, but maybe they would come down on it.
