dammit i miss texas...
dammit i miss texas... last july i moved up here to indiana with my fiance, and the last time i was back home(victoria) was OCTOBER and am going crazy. people think we(texans) are all rednecks and hicks and such, but i've never seen so many mullet having, toothless, hillbilly, backwoods people in my life. ALSO, i get the "steers and queers" joke quite often but have seen more homosexuals since i've been here than i have my whole life in texas...LITERALLY...not that i'm a homophobe...just pointing out the facts. and i'm not even gonna start on the rust issue. you know something is wrong when you have to use a slide hammer on 75% of the rotors and drums you pull off and 3-year-old cars are starting to rust out....and they think it's HUMID here because of the lakes.HAH!!! they wouldnt know humidity if it bit them in the ***.......anyways, i just thought i'd share.

PS. the only thing i do not miss is the fact that inspection stickers and emissions standards don't exist here. you can easilly get away with piping a cat or deleting an egr valve......or running straight exhaust for that matter.
it's quite different. the majority of the year is cold. you have to have a winter car and a summer car. it sucks badly. i was looking forwrad to playing in the snow, but it turned out to be more of an annoyance than fun. i would rather have a 100degree humid day than a 15 degree dry day.

Damn, and I thought Houston was full of homo's and freaks, sounds like its worse there, lol. NC was the same way, I would put up with humidity any day to stay in Texas.

I know how you feel, i lived in Indiana for a couple months and couldn't stand it. I had to leave, i felt like i was getting stupider every day from hearing all the nonsense they talk about.
