Default cluth question? racing!

While racing tonight (ls6 clutch) seemed to stick to the floor alittle. Then it seemed after race it would be alittle bit harder to put and take out of gear. Does this mean its going out or it was just hot. It was some hard core drag racing. A few burnouts and launches

mine did the same thing, search for Tony's post in the M6 section about mushy pedal, basically, do drill mod and wrap clutch line with header wrap to keep heat off. But you clutch could be burned up now. My clutch got very bad after I went to the track and went lap after lap.

might be your slave or master cylinder. Sounds like your slave to be honest, my buddy's 98 Z was having the same problem a while back and it turned out to be the slave cylinder

Get a Textralia clutch. I just purchased one from A&Acorvette which is a sponsor for this site. I talked to Andy and he was very helpful.

Its the exact same clutch with the exception of the 4 having an unsprung disc. Its not as bad as people think and its just as annoying to drive in 5 o'clock trafic as a stock clutched car. I have that with an aluminum flywheel and love it.

is there an advantage to an unsprung disc?
