Default 6 second daily driven full size pickup.....

I went to the track last night to watch Lee, FOXSPY, run his daily driver Chevy SS454 pickup. His full size 2 1/2 ton box ran a 6.99 then backed it up with a 6.95. His truck has working A/C, power everything, and runs on pump gas. I was very impressed and wanted to share his accomplishment with this wild Texas bunch.......

HAS to be. If someone had a daily driver 6 sec truck, prostock cars would be running top fuel times...

Don't know too many 6 second 1/4 mile pump gas cars. Obviously 1/8 mile.

Thats prety quick, though in stock form the 454 trucks are complete turds, its still a 454 and has a ton of potential to be built up since after all, it is a big block.

It's my truck that GoldZ is talking about. I posted up in the truck section.

Here's the video.

I'm hoping to get .70s out of it. The DA was well over 3000ft and I was pig rich at 9.2:1 air/fuel. So w/ some better weather and tuning, hopefully I can get some 6.7xs.

What's some more details on that truck, looks real clean. It has 454SS decals on the bed. Tell him about a 454SS get-together we're having in Bowling Green July 29-30 for some racing.

I would say no.

7's in the 1/4 would be close to 200mph, and that truck does not have a roll cage, and it's on Torque Thrust II wheels, those aren't 7 second wheels.

6.60s are flying but with 12.5:1 compression I seriously doubt that it is your daily driver with full power and air.

thats not my truck, its my tech and friend Billy who works with me. The trans is busted or he would be driving it right now. There are people around the DFW area that I know can verify. It is carbed and no longer fuel injected.

They wont let him run at Kennedale anymore cause of no safety equipment!
