Best window motor?
Best window motor? Finally the drivers window motor in the 98 is getting bad. Goes down but then wont go up for like 10 min. Was it autozone or orilleys that has the motors with lifetime warranty? Also, how hard is the install? Thanks guys.

My roommate just got one from autozone and we put it in last weekend, real easy to install, i think the hardest thing to do was line the holes up correctly to drill

i got mine at o'reillys with a lifetime warranty, it was like 50 bucks and then if you bring in the old one they give ytou 5 bucks!
or you could try and get lucky like me and have the guy give you two but only charge you for one!

The worst part was when we checked for spark it was there, just wasnt strong enough, so we never thought that was the issue.
Ive had friends also have problems with autozone parts. Its cheap ****. I hope the window motors are different but i doubt it. I guess well see how long they last.
I stick with Oreilys.

hey bill i used a direct replacement from gm and did have to drill holes like said up there? ill try to quote u a price on the factory gm window motor. it might not be as cheap as 45 but its a factory motor? sound good. just let me know.

$45, and it works great so far, i always buy from o reilys because autozone is full of mexicanos, and there are tons of ricer guys in there, lol
