Same thing happend to me on Memorial Day weekend only I wasnt fortunate enough to hit a curb I got a guard rail. The car is supposed to be done at the bodyshop by Thursday! I cant wait, I've been in a rental for a month and I miss my car.

If this makes you wise up and makes you ditch the the drag slick style tire and actually get a street tire for the umm.. street. I would look into getting Michelin Pilot Sports. Cant beat the dry/wet weather traction, plus a 400 tread rating you can't beat.
