Reckless Driving!!!!

So those of you that know me know that i am not really a showoff even though i believe that i have a nice car but last night i made an exception. I was leaving the bars in San Marcos last night with some girls and they were all "oh my god your car is so loud .... hehehe". So on the way to my friends i gave it a millisecond romp just to get the car to jump. Sure enough i get pulled over. Cop pulls me out of the car and i think i am about to do my first line walk when all he does is lecture me and tell me it is a felony b/c it is reckless driving not exibition of speed. After about 5 minutes of that and running my license he lets me go and tells me if he sees me a gain i am going to jail. So needless to say i got perty rdunk last night.

I am begining to hate cops that lie to "scare" people. Reckless driving is NOT a felony and DWI is a felony on your 3rd arrest or if you have a child passenger in the car.

Texas Transportation Code

§ 545.401. RECKLESS DRIVING; OFFENSE. (a) A person
commits an offense if the person drives a vehicle in wilful or
wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property.
(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor
punishable by:
(1) a fine not to exceed $200;
(2) confinement in county jail for not more than 30
days; or
(3) both the fine and the confinement.
(c) Notwithstanding Section 542.001, this section applies
to:
(1) a private access way or parking area provided for a
client or patron by a business, other than a private residential
property or the property of a garage or parking lot for which a
charge is made for the storing or parking of motor vehicles; and
(2) a highway or other public place.
(d) Notwithstanding Section 542.004, this section applies
to a person, a team, or motor vehicles and other equipment engaged
in work on a highway surface.

yeh he told me he had a car like mine and that he knew these cars are fast. i was like you have no idea. guess that's what i get though.

Damn dude, that ground effect on the side is the same thing I wanna do to my car!!! Looks sweet, I have seen that done on a LT1 Fbody but thats the 1st LS1 Fbody I have seen that done to and it looks killer
