Downtown houston tonight

Isnt there something that goes on downtown called the lights of houston or something?? If not where would be a kickass place to be and if there is where do most people park to watch??

i always go to 288 by belt way 8 in pearland..u can see all of the firework shows in the downtown area..we just park on the median..
