What was your favorite 80's Band?

Ok, well lets talk about bands we listened to and are ashamed to admit it.
I'll go first. Back when slippery when wet by Bon Jovi came out, I bought and listened to it. Looking back on it now, I can't believe I listened to that music!!

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Def Leopard yet. Bon Jovi was, is, still good. G & R, I still play them when I'm going on long trips. I still have a Duran Duran shirt. I wore it for Halloween last year.

I saw Velvet Revolver last year when they came through. They are basically the old GNR band minus axle and plus STP lead singer. They sounded great. Especially when they played the old GNR songs. I hear they're going to be at Ozzfest this year. When I heard VR was going to be there....I'm going....

Rush put out some great stuff in the 80's, though I hesitate to call them an 80's band. Among my favorite 80's bands are:
Van Halen (with Diamond Dave)
Journey (admit it, you sing along)
The Kinks
Living Colour (though I think they were 90's)
The Clash
The Cars
ZZ Top

ZZ Top (Best of all Time!), Van Halen, Bon Jovi, The Cars, U2, The Cure, Erasure, Prince, Huey Lewis and the News and of course Guns & Roses.
Listened to The Eagles even though they are technically not an 80's band and I'm sure more people then will admit it used to listen to Michael Jackson (before he turned white and started messing with kids... hahaha)
