That's just bad parenting, then. Had you ordered an M6, you wouldn't have that problem.

You'd just have clunky gears, a weak stock clutch and a shorter-lived rear end...

I wouldn't say that the lack of a tranny cooler caused it to fail, but a high stall TC does greatly increase the trans. fluid temp especially in around town stop and go driving. My TC increased my trans. temp about 30-40 degrees (from approx 185 to 220). After i installed my cooler it reduced temp. to where it was with the stock convertor. My point is, i would not want to drive around w/o a cooler once a TC is installed.

It would have been cool of them to admit the mistake (which they did) AND try and hook you up with a tranny rebuild. NOT a free tranny by any means, but maybe a little price break. (my .02)

Have you even been there? Most of the people that have gone there have had a good relationship. David, Jayson, Garrett, etc have always been there to support and encourage our hobby. I believe that talking to them about a situation before posting "what MTI is all about" and "take the ******* mti gave" is the better solution. Try taking your head out of your ***!!! Maybe use some braincells, first. Think about the situation: how could not having a tranny cooler break the transmission? Try that arguement down at the dealer!!

damn man suck mti dick ...im put my 2 cents just like u are .

They gave him the money back for the cooler and install AND installed it. I think it was fair.

Quit being an *******. You are more than welcome to give your opinions here without being a ***** about it.

4L60e trannys do suck ***. I had one fail in my 02 GMC truck (5.3L) and the truck was completely stock. Of course, it failed at 38K miles, so no warranty coverage. I HATE 4L60E piece of crap trannys.

The full size trucks like your old one Tony seem to have a lot of problems with 4l60es breaking. Stock in a f-body they usally last 100K or so and then they die, 3rd to 4th clutch pack goes. I wouldnt trust one to last in a modded car ever, esp a stock one. I have seen my buddies LT1s destroy "built" 4L60es from very reputable places that cost a ton of money to built. No wonder people switch to TH350s.

Default doesn't matter what shop

doesn't matter what shop you take it to, check your car before you leave, if you dont know what to check then you shouldn't had it done in the first place.

As far as MTI goes, I have been there a few times and they have been great to me. Plus, the shop is so open that you can watch what they are doing. If it was my car, I would have watched the whole thing, and once the cooler didn't go on, that is when you remind them. People forget, **** happens, just like everybody above me said.

I think it is very noble of MTI to comment, that just makes me want to go there more. Acually, I am going there tomorrow to get my car dyno-tuned.
