Default Clobberthon?

How did the event turn out? I took a wrong turn on I10 and ended up in Sealy. The Sealy event was cool. I didn`t see anyone get screwed out of their win money.

It was a record crowd attendance yesterday, and there was some badass cars there. Didn't see any wrecks and only one oil-down, so plenty of racing for several hours.

Most impressed with the twin-turbo Mustang from MustangGear.com

You only get screwed out of your winnings at HMP's Clobberthon.

Here's an example of how easy it is to get screwed out of your earning.
Left lane was disqualified for running too slow a speed.

Better go to Sealy and receive your winnings when you win!

Sometimes thats just how it is, hes not there to screw anyone out of their money. You cant go there if you like really organized events and everything planned out.

Went there to watch and had a great time. I have to agree with nine ball that the most impressive car was the twin turbo mustang, he went like 4.70's at 152 on a 10 inch tire!!!

yep, Chip's car is a bad mother! Has boost still left in it. Can definately see him turning the wick up and going for broke to catch that world outlaw record

I had a blast like usual! Saw a bunch of old faces and got to work with some cool cars. Hell seeing Rob throw the wheelie bars off and the tree the **** out of David Wolfe was awesome

I think I saw you run... did you run right after a Camaro with a WS-6 hood? I thought he redlighted as well, we were standing right there by the tree for a little while... good races.

You can always expect some kind of controversy at the Clobberthons. It's kind of based on "there are no rules" kind of format. It has grown significantly so he's doing something right. It's an opportunity to race heads up, always has decent payouts and the guys/girls I've raced with or against have been friendly competitive racers.

If you want a structured and organized race, it's not the place to go.

There has been some errors in the past (some effecting me), but I just shake it off. I couldn't handle trying to run an event that size. I just stay in touch with my opponent after the race to make sure we are both in agreement. It's the best way to keep from getting burned by miscommunication.

The racing action is a drag racing spectators dream. Anything can happen at anytime.

I made through the big #7 group only to lose at the tree, but it was fun!!!
