The tire sizes are 255/40/17 fronts; 275/40/18's rears...... have about 85-90% tread left.......
sorry they are so dirty, after a good clean they look brand new!!!
asking $1000 for the set....

Why such odd tires sizes?

Your front overall height is about a half inch shorter than stock and the rear's are a full inch taller than stock.

the front height seems about right, everyone uses 40 height on 17's, and 18's are usually w/ 35's but that shouldnt be that big of a difference?

That would be 275/40/17 for an overall height of 25.66". His 255/40/17's are 25.03" in overall height. The rears being 26.66".

what? 275width/40height,17r, 255/width/40heigh/17r, ? isnt a 40 on 275 the same as a 40 on a 255 or the same as a 40 on a 315? whre do you get the 25.66 etc from? i guess i dont know that much about tires, lol

The "275" is the width of the tire itself. The "40" is the ratio, meaning it's 40% of the 275.

Here's the formula for calculating overall tire height: (((Width*(Ratio/100))*2)/25.4)+Rim Size

So it would look like this : (((275*(40/100))*2)/25.4)+17 = 25.66

oh **** never knew that, i thought a 40 height was the same no matter what width the tire was, good to konw tho,

good question..... answer: dont really know, I am selling these for my friend, his computer crashed and he really doesnt post much on here....

did you count in $100-150 shipping on ebay??do the ones on ebay come with tires? no.. and these ones come with good tires, i already PMed him with a low ball offer of $700 that got turned down
