If you are wanting one in Vernon, good luck. It's a small town and most of the hotels get booked up to a year in advance for this weekend.

Thought I would give everyone a little update on the track event.
There will be no classes with the exception of a 4.90 quick class (the only reason for this is the owner of the track just got his promod vette running and wants to get some big-tired chassis cars to run him).
.400 pro tree
NO TIMES WILL BE SHOWN (only a win light I believe)
If you want to run someone, go get them, set it up and get to the staging lanes.
The track won't close until there are no more cars in the staging lanes.
Myself, Nitro Dave, and a couple of the other NX guys will be at the track early so we can get a spot along the fence. We're going to be grilling burgers, hotdogs, etc. all afternoon so everyone is more than welcome to stop by and eat or just bs. I will ride the chopper out there so that we can be spotted a little easier for anyone that wants to stop by.
See everyone out there.

Lee- The track is going to open on Sat. morning (10:00am I think) for the bracket racing program. I am trying to get ahold of Darrell (track owner) to find out if we'll be allowed to stay at the track if we get there during the bracket program (so we can get a good spot and keep it for the street program). I know Billy O'Dell is going to the track Sat. afternoon to make a couple of test passes for the rebuilt motor and then he is going to leave the car in the trailer there until that evening when the street thing starts. I'll let you know something as soon as I know.
Dave- Sounds good. Don't be late, haha
John- Gotcha, we'll have plenty so just stop by. Look for the chopper, we'll be along the fence oppsosite the pits (don't want to take up the racers' space).
