a conversation with a young fbody driver.. Lord..please forgive me for posting this but I thought this was hillarious...
This kid is about 17 or 18..he has an a4 lt1 ws6 and he ran a 14.7 at the track last friday..for the safety of the kid..ive bleeped out part of his name

It should run atleast 14 flat, very possible to run high 13s stock, plenty have, unless theres some thing wrong. My car ran 9.1@78 dead stock at Seally on a 2.25. Some things up with that car, 14.7 isnt right at all. Auto just leave it in gear and let the trans do the rest, I wonder how bad the sixties were, must be prety terrible.
well user id "jerry306" a couple of years ago in his LT1 A4 z28 ran like 13.5-6's with a K&N CAI, welded in flow, and nitto DRs.....so its possible and that car had like 130K miles

I'd say neither person in the conversation knows much. As far as the times go, if it really is shifting straight into second when he launches he'll get his high 13 low 14 with tires. It should just be stab and steer. It's not going to bog unless there is something wrong with the car.

Jon94Zs LT1 on here ran 13.5@101, just a MTI cold air and a borla, on some pep boys tires. I think 4mulajoe did some real basic free mods, but other wise car was left alone. Patman on here ran like 13.7 in his dead stock 95 Formula.
