It's an SS? Really? I see some "problems" in the pictures. They don't show the door sticker and I don't really care enough to call SLP with the VIN, but it looks to me like a fake SS through and through.

17" wheels = SS
However, while they don't show the door sticker, there are quite a few stickers on that open door - one could well be an SLP sticker.
Also the exhaust probably isn't right.

What's so damn competitive about power accessories?? I like how the AIR hose doesn't have a filter or isn't hooked up to the lid. Maybe that "ram air" for the air pump should be listed as well

Add to the wrong wheels: No SS dash plaque. No SS on rear panel. And the biggest reason... it's these guys selling it!
I'm not really joking, they've proven to be so shady that if I see something strange on one of their cars I consider them guilty until proven innocent.
I think this was a Z28 that someone (partially) turned into an SS clone. Texas Toys should know better, and I bet they do. They just want to screw a buyer of out of more money because it's an "SS".
Oh, and I'm pretty sure on my SS (a real one) the SLP sticker is on the passenger side door, not the driver's. I'm not sure if that's a hard and fast rule (ie. if SLP put them on the pass. door on all cars or it just depended what mood they were in that day
). But again, anything that deviates from what I know about SS's makes me suspicious with these guys. Well the whole car is a fake SS. Look at that cheesy exhaust single pipe looks like a V6 exhaust (Can be changed?) no SS emblems any where on it and the 16" wheels although easily swapped out just doens't look so great to me IMO! The air tub is the one that comes from SLP although it doesn't mean anything. No dash plaque as stated above. I like the colorful desription SS Z28 Come on that way it can't be false advertising and it has the SS option?? Looks like a way of dancing around the fact that is is propbably a fake, but who know without running the VIN or looking at the car in person?

and this it seems like they took off SOME items before it was repoed.
Ok some of you guys are retarded. just cause it has different wheels and different exhaust you say its not a reall SS. give me a break. i knew right away it was probably a real SS. Sure you can put all that SS stuff on a Z28 and make it look like an SS. But i have never seen any SS clone that had the weather stripping looking lip infront of the air box. look very carefully. all SS's come with this lip.
Oh and everyone thats raggin on the exhaust, that looks like it a 4" Mufflex cat back. they did a **** poor job of installing it though.
