Street Racing Accident? I heard that there was a wreck last night 2 people were street racing, and someone was killed? I believe he hit a light pole or something.
I believe one of the cars was a Black firebird?
Just checking to see if anyone knows any more information about this news.

yeah were on the side of the road helping some other members and saw a couple of ambulances, firetrucks, cops pass on the freeway... about 30 minutes later a cop passes us and asks if we had seen anything.... etc
edit... believe the cop had said black thunder bird....

The officer that talked to us said that ther was a hit and run and they were looking for victim/body as the car was covered in blood and the car was found on the side of the road abandoned. Not a related with the other one and had nothing to do with racing.

Always sucks to hear when someone gets hurt.... It is nice to see for a change that it wasnt someone that had nothing to do with it. It is rare that the racers get hurt.... its usualy some poor sap who didnt even see it comming.

A 29-year-old man was killed during an early morning street race in southwest Houston when his car crashed into a telephone pole. The man, whose name was not released pending notification of his family, died at about 1:20 a.m. Sunday in the 10500 of Harwin. Police said the man was racing a green Ford Mustang when that driver forced his Acura off the road. Two passengers in the Acura were not seriously injured, police said.
Yesterday they said it was a woman??
