OK, not that I really favor anyone getting a ticket, especially mostly bullshit tickets, but you have to realize when you drive your car that's been modded that extensively, you run the risk of getting written up for it. It's a law and he's doing his job. He's just not as easy-going as most others.
I would love to take the freakin' front plate off my car, but I know the day I do I'm going to get pulled over and I have no defense. It's not on there and the law states that it should be. It's the same thing with the EGR, Cats, etc. You know that they are supposed to be there and if removed it's a violation.
Now, I know people are going to disagree, but deep down you know it's wrong and you're rolling the dice on not getting caught. It's like speeding: we all do it, but if a cop pulls you for going 5 miles an hour over, you know that you were.

damn that blows, I drive by that area fairly often but never seen him, (knock on wood).
I wonder what he would do if you wouldnt pop the hood, he could still see no cats though

I didn't think you had to allow them to search the car.
Like for drug search etc, they ask (supposed to) and if you dont they call a dog or something.
someone fill in the blanks/correct me with everything. I just remember getting pulled over with a friend and the guy asked to do a search, after it was all said and done we asked why he asked, and thats when he said something along those lines, as they had to ask, etc...
