Default TH350 VS TH400 differences?

I broke my T5 POS tranny yet again. I'm looking into upgrading to one of the above. Can I get some experienced people to post pros and cons of the 2? The price difference in these vs a power glide are basically the same for me. What about a power glide is it entirely to much for my application? BTW, I'm looking for 500RWHP this year and maybe up to 700 late next year.

Thanks for the comments in advance....

Well if you get a TH350 it will have to be 'built' to handle that kindof power. I've heard that TH350 is alittle more streetable than a TH400. I'm not sure why.
I've also heard that getting a lock-up converter for a TH400 can be very expensive as a TH350 is not as expensive. Seems like more people w/ street/strip cars go with a 'built' TH350 where more strip only cars making serious horsepower (700+) go w/ TH400. Someone please chime in because I would like to know this too....

th400 is a beast. but it is heavier and has more rotating mass as well. Th350 will handle it but it will need some stuff done to it. oh yea the T5 is a piece. surprised it held that much power to tell you the truth
