Unhappy Reckless needs a job

I recently completed a career with the U.S. Air Force. I was a senior level manager in the meteorology career field. In the Air Force I was responsible for personnel manning levels, personnel training, development of the career field's training path from beginning to end, assignments for personnel, techinical writing, member of Inspector General team, primary evaluator for official Air Force inspections and reports.

My passion is within the automotive industry, but I have many transferable skills that would fit into many companies. I originally moved to texas to manage a site sponsor's Dallas location. Once relocated, I was informed the store would never open. I have been bouncing around ever since then with Fastech, selling cars, etcetera, and now officially unemployed.

I am looking for a position paying minimum $45,000 annually. I have a resume available upon request.

- General
-- B.S. (dual major) in Business Administration and Occupational Education (GPA 4.0)
-- Events Director for the EFI Nationals race series
-- LS1Tech.com staff member and active in the LSx community
-- Capable with HTML and some web page management

- Technical
-- Certified aviation meteorologist
-- Intimate knowledge of 4th generation f-body platform, and especially the 1998 and up cars (LS1 based)
-- Technically capable with C5 Corvette
-- Tuning software skills (LS1 Edit, Accel, FAST, etc.)
-- Dynojet hardware and software operations
-- Adept at minor fabrication as needed - weld fine with MIG
-- Troubleshooting for all types of performance vehicles
-- LSx engine assembly (complete); have personally built engines for boost and normally aspirated street cars up to 408cid
-- Built my own 1998 Formula in my garage "Project Retro"
-- Designed and built my own direct port system
-- Designed and built my own direct port fuel setup ...
-- One of the first LSx turbo cars back in 1999 (Turbo Tech T-76 kit)

- Managerial
-- 15+ years of supervisory experience with extensive management training
-- Quickbooks, MS Office, shipping and receiving
-- Setting up vendor accounts and wholesale distributorships
-- Scheduling of personnel and jobs
-- Thrive on fast paced operations and challenges

I am willing to relocate at this point. I am looking for something long-term with an established shop or company. I can contribute in every way possible and I am a team player always.

Please contact via personal message or email to turbows6@hotmail.com

Todd you can come back to the car business. We are getting good at counting tumble weeds as they roll by right now.

Seriously good luck in your search. Sorry to hear things didn't work out at Fastech.

I just left there Harris County is Houston. You don't get free dough nuts but you can eat at Skillets and Whataburger in Pasadena for half price and Luby's on Fuqua/Gulf Frwy for free after 8 pm.
