Austin area Fantasy Football late start league Any takers!
I recently moved here and would either like to join a Fantasy Football league or start one. We would need 10 players. I know the season started but its not to late. We can have a draft this weekend and start the follwing week. This makes every game fun because you have a player on your team or against your team playing. This can be a keeper league where you keep your best 1-3 players for the following year.
The rules and scoring system can be voted on. There are a lot of styles.
Basic rules
$50 to buy a team
$5 per trade, or pick up, or starting player on bye week
starting roster
QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
TE
K
DEF
4or 5 utility players.
Heads up ! Each teams plays each other team at least once head to head and the winner earns 5 points for a victory. Everyone also get between 1-10 points depending on the points you score. It keeps it fair and interesting. The best team rarely wins. I've seen the highest scoring team in 5th place and the 4th highest scoring team take it all. I use to think this was gay until my bro talked me into playing in his buddies league. I am hooked. Let me know. Its a lot of fun. I live in Round Rock, Tx so let's keep it close so we don't have to drve 4 hours just to draft.
