C6 wants to Run...Advice.
C6 wants to Run...Advice. I have a guy that lives at the end of my street that just got a C6 about a two months ago. I drive past him everyday.
He told my wife to tell me " Any time or Place", " He's Ready".
I want to add LS1 edit to my car and make sure its running at its best before I test him.. Cause I know, He'll only run once and if he wins.. That's it. I live in a small town and He'll spread it all over.
I must win.
I'm not sure how much HP my car is putting out but I've raced two of my buddies and they have a 01 Z06 and a 00 SS, and I win every time.
Should I go for it.. or do the computer upgrade first?

do you race those other guys from a stop or roll? are you getting traction at low gears?
I raced a C6 and it was real close in mid-top end so i think they are pretty fast. but it all depends. Might as well try it though. cant be sure till it happens
and about your question, it depends on if you can do it for free or what. if you have headers and ORY i dont think you will gain a whole lot more hp but maybe a little.

Big Steele... I wasn't pissed, This guy isn't very sociable. He's in his early 50's-I think and he has been spending $$ like crazy over the summer. ( In-ground pool, C6 vette, new truck, .. All I know is he's some kind of Safety person that inspects off shore drilling rigs, or some **** like that. And his wife isn't aloud to drive the vette.
