NE (near Humble) checking in.

11:00 pm
light rain (heavy rain about 20 min away).
probably 30 mph wind with 60 mph gusts.
surprisingly, the power is still on. Bet that doesn't last long!

NW side (1960/290) at 11:15pm:
-Very little rain.
-30-40mph winds, possibly 50mph gusts.
-The power has flashed twice, but has yet to actually go out.

Ditto, except here at 529/Fry we've had the power flash three times.

11:45 (249/cypresswood)
-easy winds, with a few strong gusts
-light rain
-all utilities, except cable is making funny click noises every few seconds (kinda annoying!)

Good luck everyone!

West Road and 1960, moderate winds and light rain. Power surge 1 time.

I did see the awesome power of the wind however, a cardboard box rolled into my car...

I'M BORED!!!

what's here to do in a small tx city???? with NO good looking girls, 'hot spot', car meets, friends, club........nothing!!!

Wanna hear something sad/funny? me and my cousin saw this girl and my cousin says, "SHE'S from houston" and then i asked wondering, " how do you know that for sure?" he simply replies, "...she hott!" Thats the kinda city i'm in!!!

Not to mention i'm in a house with "mrs seek and destroy". She's a 2y.o. that grabs everything and pretty much breaks it on the spot. Which is normal at that age i guess, but still....anoying.

I'm in Nacogdoches right now

2:07 am- light rain moderate wind, nothing too bad (plenty of beer still left)

I'm more worried about flodding here more so than anything else, they say this thing is supposed to just stall over East TX and drop a ton or rain!

Hope everyone in Houston is ok. I just saw that there was like 60 mph winds in League city right now

2:32 am checkin in from Tomball

Moderate and occassional bursts of rain with 30mph gusts

I think the weathermen turned this little tropical depression into a 400mile wide hurricane cause they got bored
