Unhappy Texas People! Tranny Recommendations?

I would like to get a Turbo 400 or similar transmission w/ a 3-Speed. (Automatic) Has anyone had their 4L60E ripped out and replaced with one of these? What brand did you use and where did you get a custom driveshaft? How much did you pay for the parts/installation? Any comments or suggestions appreciated, but I do not want to rebuild my original so it can go out again. My next tranny needs to be bomb-proof! Also, I thought about a trans-brake. Thx!!

I have everything you need to do it in my car right now.

Madman Dipstick
T400 with 4X4 HD case
Reverse manual valvebody with T-brake.
3800 stall setup for t-brake and nitrous
steel driveshaft
Yank X-member setup with stock style torque arms.
B&M Pro Ratchet Shifter and linkage
B&M deep aluminum trans pan
B&M 24,000 GVW cooler

This trans has been 1.60 on 28" Drag Radials on motor
1.3X 60's on nitrous and 28" tall slicks

It has about 1000 miles on it since freshening up. It has HD everything in it, Hughes Valvebody with Pro Brake, Blue Clutches and Kolene steels.

I'll take $1500 firm for it outright. Im going to a glide and cant use any of this. My car was an A4 at one time.

what do you mean by "bomb proof"? how much HP are you looking to put through it?
my stage III done by century is pretty killer. i had MTI install it and have no problems. but i am only around 500 to the wheels right now. i know they are good for well over that.

it is still a 4lshittyE though

I know, but I would rather spend more money and have one last than have my 4L60E brake on me again. In other words, I am hoping to do this one time and one time only. I need a very solid tranny that almost guarantees not to throw me any curve ***** if I am spending $2-3,000. I am looking for around a 500HP mark, so something that would hold this up would be great!

I guarantee mine to hold at least 800hp.

It comes with a guarantee that it works. $1500 for a solid setup is a steal.

Yea that is a good deal. Thanks, but, I do not really know the shape of these parts and they are already used; I would rather buy new ones so I can guarantee they are not worn, etc. No offense to you...Thank you for your offer though. I am sure someone will buy these parts from ya!!

If you want new I have all but a X member and driveshaft. Was saving for my other car but I could use the cash right now.
