U.S. Customs Sucks Our U.S. Customs Dept. sucks ***. I've been sitting aboard a ship about 15 miles outside of Pascagoula, MS since 1am on Monday morning. Waiting on U.S. Customs to let us come into the port. The port has a couple tug boats that pull ships into the channel, and they only operate during daylight hours. So, its about 3 days now of just sitting here. Customs won't let any helicopters or smaller boats come out and pick us up off of this ship, they are being asses, and do not want anyone to leave any boats early.
We *might* get to come in tomorrow. Might not. Depends on how lazy they feel I suppose.

HaHa...My brother tells me the same stories about U.S. Customs. He is an agent for Stolt. 
I have to deal with customs all the time, they are quite ****. I work for a shipping company and we ship a lot of heavy equipment. They make everyones jobs and lives a pain in the ***, but if we didnt have them the US would be a much different place.

Our Customs Dept here is SOOO **** compared to how they were when we got off the plane in London. We were in and out in about 45 minutes over there. When we came back, it was THREE HOURS at the Minnesota airport..and some old guy confiscated my cell phone because he'd never seen a slider phone...so it was "suspicious". IDIOTS!
I used to clear crew off of ships with customs-INS, i know what asses they can be. Most of them are on some holier than thou powertrip. I have had those lazy asses ruin my night several times. I know how you feel buddy.
