i just asked my friend how much he pays at Walden Internet Villages. $761 for a 2/2.

Didn't ask if that included the internet connection. Pretty good deal.

Oh yeah your electricity alone here will propably be half of what you're paying out in Cally

Dallas or Houston both have their ups and downs, but both are good places to live and you can find a good apt. in either one

If you do end up coming, Welcome to the LS1 state!

EVERWHERE in Texas is cheaper than California, just be prepared to own a gun, vote Republican or anything but liberal/socialist (if not, don't move please here) and make fun of California. Try Lubbock if you want really laid back low cost living, Dallas if you want a fast nightlife, Houston if you like pollution, crime, and refugees, and San Antonio if you want it all together.

I lived in California for 5 years and can't believe I went out there in the first place...

Austin is by far the best city to live in. If your looking for a big f body town, then houston is where you want to be.

Dallas/Austin would be my first two choices if I was moving in from out of state and had to move to Texas(key phrase being had to). J/K, Texas isn't that bad, there are just other states I'd rather be in.

HOUSTON all the way baby! Dallas/Ft Worth is cool. Austin is great. But Houston is where its at, close to the ocean, less than an hour depending on where you live. You cant go wrong though moving close to any of the big cities. Hope you like country music lol.

I grew up in houston, and houston is ok, there is always something to do. I moved to austin for school and it is 100% better than houston...believe me!
Your right down the freeway from san marcos and new braunfels, san antonio is an hour away. The college life/nightlife in austin is hands down the best of anywhere in tx, 50,000 students at UT as well as several other colleges and junior colleges. You won't know what to do with yourself when you see all the college hotties.

Arlington's the only way to go, it's got hot chicks, dallas and ft worth within a 20 min drive for working (career not job) and austin/houston/SA is still within 5-6 hrs
