HPE rocks and the prices are the best in town.

HPE had my car 1 day for the cam, intake, & throttle body and good prices.

www.ls1howto.com it gives dam good instructions, never worked on my car, and found myself done in like a day and a half. Get some friends and some beer and let the good times roll.
I find that I am most relaxed when I work on my car, even if it is just changing the oil. Something about doing it myself really gives me a large bit of satisfaction. I would totally recommend doing it yourself. Plus, it will give you and your friends that help do it a good chance to hang out, and you will probably get one or two "funny things that happened while working on you're car" stories. And those are always the best stories. (see other thread)

Yeah Right! LOL! On the cam install it is all preference the private installers can save you money, but we don't offer some of the things that a shop can such as tunning etc... And doing it your self while I will say that it is easy compared to the older style cars there is some stuff to watch for that even LS1howto.com doesn't teach you to look for and so if you have done a LOT of work in the past maybe it is for you if you have all the tools. There are a lot of people that do them themselves that have just gotten lucky and haven't ran into any problems. But every now and then there is one that will bite you in the *** and you will be glad you paid someone else to deal with it. JMO! Good luck I know most of the shops in the area do good work.
