exactly, ppl that do not know what the movie is about expected to see an all out war movie(which ppl said Black Hawk Down), so they left dissappointed due to lack of action.

2 OSC's??? did he go MECEP or did the Marines just say 'hey, devildog, your going to the Citadel?? what was his MOS before becoming a scout sniper??

here is some of his current info he sent me in b/t classes
im a corporal
mortarman / infantry
i was in the 1st battalion, 23rd Marines, Alpha Company, Weapons Platoon
then i was in Marine Corps Security Force Company Guantanamo Bay Cuba
i went to OCS
now im in a Light Armored Reconnaissance unit in Columbia SC(does this and attends The Citadel)
He was also sent to Iraq twice, but was pulled out by the marines.
he enlisted when he was 17(summer 2001), and while in basic, september 11 happened, so was immediately put into service.
hope some things clarify, i will get more info when he has some time to sit down and chat w/ me

so that makes more sense. i used to work at H&S 1/23. i got there right when they got back from Cuba. i'm with another unit now and went TAD to Columbia,SC when that unit first got those LAVs. hopefully he's the head crewman for that LAV-M, because it needed some attention when I left. if he needs anything for his hog tell him to get with me, and i'll see what i can do. also tell him to tell cocloughand ssgt wilson also. they have my contact info.

yeah, i passed on the info but he is pretty busy right now. He is coming to austin to party w/ me next week. I dont remember what new medals he got, he told me when he was going to texas state last semeter. I remember he got his red stripes on his pants and his sword(which is really bad ***).
