Default Moving to Houston

I've had two job offers in the Houston area after I graduate. One is north of Houston on Hwy 290, so I would probably live in Cypress. The other is off I-10 between Hwy 6 and the Beltway. I've been told about "Midtown," but I'm not sure where that area is and what it's like there. Where are some nice apartments in this area? I would prefer one with a private garage. I'm from west Texas, so I'm not too familiar with Houston.

midtown is great, although it would be hard to find an apartment or condo with a garage unless you are willing to spend some money...

I live about 5 minutes from midtown in the heights area, roads are shitty around here, be prepared for some cussing.

If you have any questions, just let me know.

i would recommend living as close to your work as possible. i used to work for everyones internet and had to drive from my parents house on spring-cypress and barker-cypress to 59 and kirby and during rush hour thats a long frustrating journey.
