I know what I would have done: 4 flat tires, dents up and down the sides once I got my car out, and probably would have snapped the antena to boot. Then I would have left a card that I carry around that my friend has made for us. It basically says that you are an idiot and "if you **** like you park, I bet you never get it in".

Thats shitty! I hope you wreaked some havoc on that thing!

Same happened to me thursday night at Taco cabana. Some drunk *** parked really close to the Avalanche. I got so pissed off, I was waiting to find a huge door ding or scratch. I was prepared to kick in a few doors and maybe even break some glass, but thankfully there was nothing there. I was about to get REALLY mad, but checked it out before I did anything. Lucky for them

no dont let the air out, jack up the car and put bricks under it so that the tires are about 1/2 and inch of the ground but it looks normal when they try to leave their car wont go anywhere... then you can take off...

Are any of you the same people who go apeshit when an F body gets keyed or otherwise damaged?

Seriously - all the van dork did was park like a jackass. A really big jackass, sure, but everyone's paint is intact.

Some of you mentioned brake fluid, broken windows, keys, ripped out valvestems - all for a parking jackass?

If he hit your car, keyed your car - you know, nasty stuff - then it's on, sure. But for a parking jackass, there's no reason to start doing things that are permanent.

The old note on the windshiled about the can opener is old, but it's still a good one. I did like the one about ******* like you park, though.

Anyway, just my nickel....

That's why no one at work is allowed to park next to me. I made sure to tell them they better not park next to my car. When I 1st got my truck someone I worked with let their car door hit up against the truck and I had a nice door ding and the paint was chipped. I went off on them and no one has forgotten it

Someone already touched on this....
About a year back or so...I parked in a completely different section of a parking lot at a store that I frequent...anyway, Im the only one in the entire section, come out and 2 cars are parked on either side of me (I double parked in a section WAAAY by myself) and left 1 inch inbetween me and them. Both cars had *doesn't matter* college stickers. So...I crawled in through the back hatch, grabbed my Valve Core Tool (i carry it for just such an occassion) and took the cores out of their outside tires to give me some more room...pulled out...then took the cores from the inside tires. Left them each a note that read "next time you'll also need a good locksmith..." and wrapped their valve stem cores in tape and taped them under the note.

I carry a small box of matches for emergencies...but they also fit into door locks...
so far Ive only had to remove handfull of valve cores...they get the picture after that.

should have let the air out of the driver side tires on the caravan... once it started to lean it would have given you another 1/2" or so to get out of the spot.

That would **** me off alright! Luckily the people at my job are cool about that stuff. If you park on the end of a row on the outside line, people get the hint and stay in the middle of their parking spot. Mostly Vettes, BMWs, Porsches park on the end of the rows. But I also put a car cover on my car to help in the event that someone does open their door into my car.
The good news is that your car wasn't damaged. If you damage their car at the place you work, don't forget that they know your car as well. So unless you stop driving it to work that wouldn't be wise. A firm note should get someones attention in that case.

I would be awfully tempted to leave a long scratch all the way down the side they parked so close with. Maybe they'd think you scratched it pulling out and not park so close next time they are feeling "frisky" or whatever the fock they were feeling.

If confronted - "what I had to pull out and it was physically impossible to get out without rubbing. Next time leave some more room."

I would talk to him. Tell him you're not happy about how close he parked to your car. REMEMBER....You can't be watching over your car all the time, hate to see him f*@k it up when your not around. But, If he scratched it, or if he left a door mark on you're car, kick his ***.
