We are currently in negotiations with John Hennessey to hold it at his place in the very near future. for the 1st annual "Dont Mess With Texas 500+ meet"

We will be having an impromptu cruise on the 18th at RSI to talk to people about the future of this event, meet others within this unique group of people and have chance to air out our cars for a very short cruise.

Look forward to meeting all of you and look forward to seeing you either at the BIG ONE, the cruise or both.

I have worked very hard in compiling some of the powerful cars in Houston and am grateful to so many who have spread the word. This is an effort for all to enjoy.

What: Kickoff for the 1st Annual "Dont Mess with Texas 500+HP Houston Horsepower Meet; it is an impromptu gathering for a cruise. If you have any questions very free to contact me.

Again, This is a very very informal gathering of people. This portion is just to introduce people to each other, to discuss the future of the event and updates on the exact day of the event

Purpose: to meet people within the Houston Performance community and surround areas.

Cruise: Meet. We will meet for about 1 1/2 hours and then go on a short cruise (not race). Cruise information will be given out at the meet. This will be the inagural meet. You will get to socialize, take pics, drive a little, and still have enough of your Sunday left to relax. Remember this is just an opportunity to air your cars, meet people and play alittle.

When: Sunday December 18th. Meet at 9am. Cruise by 10:30am.

Weather Forecast: So far 0% chance of rain . If it gets above 30% the meet will be rescheduled in January of 06'. Check here for updates.

Where: Racing Solutions Inc. 11755 W. Little York Rd., Suite 106 Houston, TX 77041. We received permission from the owner of RSI to have our meet there. This is a priviledge and not a right. Respect their parking lot. No burnouts and place your trash in trash cans.

Who: Primarily 500+HP cars. However, this is an all inclusive meet. That means everyone is encouraged to attend.

How: Just show up.

Hello everyone

Many of you remember when I first started this list. It was for all to participate and enjoy the handiwork, craftmanship and creativity of individuals thoughout the houston community.

Remember this is just a gathering to communicate, discuss and future planning for the 1st annual 500+ meet. The cruise is to help work out some bugs, posture a little and show off some of the work that so many have tirelessly have done.

Work to compile this list and promote this event takes so many peoples efforts and I continue to thank them for their efforts.

Negotiations is under way with John Hennessey and the event location and date to be determined by the 500+ committee. All 12 representatives will determine the fate, date and format. So please forward your input to those people listed in the committee and they will forward as they receive it.

By the way, Look out for the Vipers to pour on the JUICE with the list provided by John.

Thanks, it was an afterthought as I built a list. I was hoping that Houstonians, the speed shops and Texans were able to display there wares, there hard work, creativity and efforts to display to the country in one simple format.

The minimum limit was set because of the somewhat difficulty to achieve 500rwhp without destroying things and kind of eliminates some of the rice, though rice are welcome.

by the way, your car looks awesome and wish we could see it down here.

I just find hard believe that there are so few vettes producing 500+ rwhp down here. Maybe they will make a big push at the end like the viper guys will with Hennessey. Maybe the MTI guys will find there way here. I believe just these 2 companies alone will push this thing well over 50000hp for the event
