Yep, I remember it at Thunder, it isnt the only fast Fairmont, I have seen a few Ford powered ones that run really well. Cool car, kinda the same deal as the late 70s Malibus.

He did say his Coupe was for sale...LS6 bottom end...W1 cam, T350....All it needs is a small shot and it'd run as good or better then the wagon..just not as much a sleeper..

A stang would get a ton less races up there. At least with a wagon like that folks would assume a 5.0 setup and would not expect it to be quite as fast.

That white truck was a turtle...It never hooked on the street.....Sounded good so it musta been fast..haha

who had the red SS that broke a 12 or 10 bolt on regal row?

white truck had a bottle in the bed.... his old lady used to get out and squirt the tires to help em hook..... but the red blazer owned all!
