there are six fasteners that hold it in place... three at the top that are round and three at the bottom that are flat... and you can just grab ahold of it and pull that puppy right off without loosening a single one of them... once off, you can get a new one from any Chevy dealership for ~$45... instead of using those fasteners to hold it in place when you go to put it back on, use double sided 3M adhesive tape
