Coping with Loss
It looks like my 98 Trans Am will be gone by tomorrow afternoon. I really don't want to sell it, but need to bring up the funds in order to adopt our girl from out of country. I spoke with my wife and she reassured me that I'll be able to get another one at some point in the upcoming year or something. Sheesh - I'm gonna miss it. Such a joy to drive, stare at, wash, etc.

Tis true! The problem is, I know I will be looking for one even before I have any business to start the process! Whenever I start looking for a car, I get consumed with it and my work output actually suffers.

Actually back in the old day the Z28 was the handling version and the SS was the power one. I hope they go back to a platform where there is atleast a difference in the two besides appearance and options...Anyway, sorry you had to get rid of your car but you'll get another one

We've all sold our "babies" at one point or another to get something or do
something different...just to get another one later on down the road that is
faster and more powerful!
Web work - do you do anything with flash?

I sold my TA back in 03 cause I had my son. It was our only car and we just couldnt do it with the payment and the back seats arent set up for carriers. It was hard to let it go but I wouldnt dare take that car over my son if it was offered to me. You on the right track....just a car, you can always get another one. Thumbs up! Give it a couple of years and you never know, maybe your lil girl will be out in the garage wrenchin with ya.

Im not digging the new camaros or trans am that are about to come out so I will just look for an 02 somewhere unless GM makes major changes to the concepts that they showed.
