1/15/06 Baytown timeslip!!
I know my times arent what many of you have and what the car has done in the past which was a 11.22@122 by previous owner (badhabitbird), but to prove a point that smaller cams still make tons of power!!
The car was put totally back to stock and recently added the following mods;
224/228@114 comp
pacesetter lt's
lid
pully
this is a M6 and i babied it hard with the car bogging....
60: 1.951
330:5.315
1\8: 8.048@91.22
1000:10.368
1\4: 12.314@118.33
The car started pulling like a BIATCH going into 3rd i guess because it had to get over the bog..
But with good tune, heavy zo6's off, and a hard launch would put this car well in the 11's....
the motor is making the power but needs the 12-bolt to handle it

the only weight reduction i have is the back seats out because i dont like hauling people around... I dont know what it is about this car but there is a WHOLE lot left in it the way it sits... Another thing thats killing it is the warn out valve springs... But in all honesty, this car pulls WAYYYY harder than my nova does in the big end... and it runs bottom 11's... with valve springs, tune, and me leaving harder i know it will run mid 11's all day long

man it can be 10* outside and itll fire right up every time... i just got headers and a lid and i know it could use another scan... i just think if i had a 1.6-1.7 60- foot i would be around the 11.7 range because it wouldnt have to make up for bogging...
hey raf, what cam are you running or are you all bolt ons?? good taste in color and car by the way
