WTB: Reliable Daily Driver

I know this should be in the classifieds section but i only want cars in Texas so i figure its best viewed here.

I gave the Contour to my father. He just cant seem to come up with enough money to buy another one so what the hell. That wasnt hurting me. So since i wont be getting it back, i need a daily driver. The firebird just cant be driven all day at hot rodded at the same time, like they say, you cant have a daily driver and a hot rod all in one.

So what do you all have sitting in the driveway for sale for a good price? Something completely reliable, ect. I have a settlement check coming from an injury in a car wreck for about 2 grand so thats what im looking to spend around. Looking for a $1500 beater with a reliable history, prefferably just ONE owner.

2 grand is what you have to work with? I think that I have seen a nissan sentra for sale running around downtown. it is blue...If i see it I will try and get the number out of the window for you. They are asking like 1700$ I think.

good luck on anything being 'reliable' at that budget. You are most likely to end up with several maintenance repairs on anything of that price range.

I do happen to have a 2005 Honda Civic Limited Edition for sale. Its silver, only 4K miles, 5-spd, power everything, 2-door with spoiler and alloy wheels. Will sell for payoff (less than $15K now). Ultra-reliable

The maitenance problems dont bother me. I live with a goodyear technician and he doesnt bullshit and knows his stuff. He's done some incredible things with some seriously f.cked cars.
