New dyno in Centex How many people would make a drive to Waco for a dyno day with free food, classic rock radio station on site and an LS1 shootout at a local track?
Im in the mood to purchase a dyno, but as you know, they are spendy. I was hoping to host a huge first event to get some of the preliminary payments paid.
Any suggestions would be welcome also..

Unknown yet.. The one we are looking at is the Mustang 600DE, which is a dual eddy current brake dyno (in leman's terms, this means you can load the vehicle throughout the entire RPM range so you dont have to make a WOT tune, then take it out on the street and fine tune it). We'll also have wideband o2 runs for a little extra. When the times comes, I will post a sign-up list..

I would be interested in going to waco - depending on the people that are there. That makes a big difference. I dont like the crowd (or the owner for that matter) @ the dyno in killeen so I tend to stay away from there. Another dyno in the immediate area with a different crowd would definitely be welcomed.

Its gonna be in Belton. The dyno @ Sunshine is a Dynojet- its just gives you numbers for bragging rights.. This Mustang dyno will give you true tq and hp numbers since you can load the motor at its peak power band instead of WOT like a Dynojet.. Plus we plan on employing a few tuners so you dont have to drive to Dallas or Houston for a tune.
